Funding Assistance To Get Your Rentals Healthy

On top of the EECA subsidy (which will be ending soon for those of you who have yet to take advantage of the offer), the Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board is launching a Housing Quality Pilot Project which will involve some form of financial assistance for landlords.  This may include the provision of financial incentives from the Local Board for improvements such as insulation and clean heating, the provision of a tenants kit which may include fire extinguishers and draft stripping, and accessing curtains from a local curtain bank etc.  This project is scheduled to happen in the next few months.  For more information and to participate in this project, please log into your APIA account and go to the General Announcement Tab.
