Granted, tax is not the most thrilling aspect of investing yet EOFY filing is something every investor must deal with. Given all the rule changes that have been happening in this space, chances are there are a few things with your tax affairs that can be straightened out before you do your end of year paperwork. It’s better to get them sorted to file your return correctly than mess around with voluntary disclosures and (God forbid!) IRD audits.
We get together with Peter Taylor to chat through some of the frequently asked tax questions from investors and invite live audience members to submit their own end of financial year questions. There’s no such thing as a silly question only a silly investor who won’t take the chance to ask it when he can!
