The government is seeking the pass, under urgency, the COVID-19 Response (Management Measures) Legislation Bill. If passed, the Minister of Housing will have the power to order restrictions on landlords (that are reminiscent of last year’s ban on termination) at future lockdowns without referring back to Parliament.
This webinar is designed to give you a plain English understanding of Schedule 5 of the Bill (in particular, the aspects of which that will have the most effect on landlords) and a forecast of its legislative timeline.
